updated novembre 20, 2002 |
The SARG Exo Planets Search is the italian project aimed in finding and studing extra solar planets orbiting around wide binaries componets. The project team is formed by people from some Italian Astronomical Observatories (Padova, Catania and Teramo) and M. Endl who made the software AUSTRAL (Endl, Kuster, Els, 2000, A&A, 362, 585) we are using for the Radial Velocity measurements with iodine absorption cell. The observation were obtained with the italian spectrograph SARG coupled with the Italian Telescope TNG. The search of photometric variabilities and planetary transits are planned to be performed with the TNT telescope of the Teramo Astronomical Observatory.
