GENERAL INFORMATION: HOW TO REACH ASIAGO
The town of Asiago (alt. 1000 m) is in the centre of a very popular resort area, with several hotels, a hospital, banks and foreign exchange bureaux, travel agencies, supermarkets etc.
Accommodation in the town can be difficult to find during the peak tourist seasons (July, August, Christmas holidays, and February).

WHERE ARE THE TELESCOPES?

The 182 cm and the 67/92-cm Schmidt telescopes are on a ridge (Cima Ekar) 4 km further east and 350 m higher. Cima Ekar is accessible by a paved road where caution is required while driving. Snow chains are essential in this area from November to April.
